Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson, born in Paris France of British parents Jacqueline Luesby Watson and Chris Watson both of whom were lawyers. At the age five she relocated from London to Oxfordshire where she studied at The Dragon School. Emma decided to be an actor at age six. Over the course of several years she was enrolled in the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts part-time school. There she learned singing dance, acting and singing. As early as age ten the actress took part in and played the leading role in numerous Stagecoach Productions and School Plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) The movie version to J.K. Rowlings bestselling novel was first cast for very first time back in the year 1999. Emma was discovered by Emma's Oxford theatre teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint after 8 auditions. They were selected as the 3 leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's first appearance on the big screen came in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, released in 2001. The movie beat all previous records for its opening and weekend ticket revenues, and was the most-recorded 2001 movie. Critics have praised both the film as well as the performance of the three principal young actors. The Daily Telegraph in Britain and the Daily Telegraph in America, widely read and widely read, praised her performance as admirable. Emma won the Young Artist Award as the Leading Young Actress for the Feature Film. She was later awarded five times for her performance in the movie.
