When she was 16 years old, she began singing and learning music with her mum. Flavio, a Mexican tenor of great renown began giving her a more intensive vocal instruction. Her music training continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University. In the following years, she was a student at an institution called the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was an active member of numerous chamber and opera choirs. She sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. She sings with Ensemble XXI Redlands, and is a performer of Latin American traditional music solo for many private functions. Her love and passion in music, art and performing has her involved with a variety of local initiatives as a performer and teacher. Ana is also an active member of the Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft.
